Nestled in the mist-clad hills of Munnar in Kerala, the Gruenberg Tea Plantation Haus offers a serene getaway amid sprawling tea gardens. The property sits within a tea plantation, giving guests panoramic green views of rolling slopes carpeted in tea bushes.
The address is Power House Road, Dobipalam, Chithirapuram P.O., Munnar – approximately 1,160 m above sea level.
Because of its elevated location, you get sweeping views of tea-covered mountainsides and valleys, and in some rooms you’ll even hear a small stream flowing nearby.
It’s somewhat removed from the busier town centre of Munnar, which means peace and quiet—but also that access may require a bit more effort, especially with local transport.
The property is small and boutique in feel: only a handful of rooms (reviews mention around 5 rooms) which adds to the private, intimate vibe.
Rooms feature balconies, flat-screen TVs, WiFi, seating areas and are designed to take full advantage of the tea plantation and mountain views.
