Located on a unique farm island that lies two meters below lake level, the property is a testament to generations of agricultural heritage and innovation. Originally reclaimed in the 1950s, the farm continues to thrive through sustainable and organic practices, producing coconuts, bananas, fruits, and vegetables.

Accessible by road up to the lakeside, your journey concludes with a tranquil boat ride across the shimmering backwaters, setting the tone for the peaceful retreat that awaits you. The property features independent waterfront villas designed to ensure complete privacy while maintaining a close connection with nature. The first villa, crafted by Swiss architect Karl Damschen, showcases traditional Kerala architecture with antique charm and open-plan living. The other villas, designed by Thomas Dominic, offer elegant layouts with separate living spaces and scenic sit-outs overlooking palm-fringed waters.

At Philipkutty’s Farm, hospitality is deeply personal. The family resides on the property and actively engages with guests, offering guided walks around the farm, local excursions, or simply warm conversations that create lasting bonds. Every experience is thoughtfully tailored to individual preferences, ensuring that each guest enjoys a unique and fulfilling stay.

The farm also carries a proud legacy, with deep roots in agriculture and community. The late Philipkutty, after whom the farm is named, was honored with the prestigious ‘Kera Kesari’ award by the Government of Kerala for excellence in coconut cultivation.
